This full-time, in-person role offers the opportunity to work with diverse learners in a collaborative, student-centered environment.

Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction to students with special education needs
Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Differentiate instruction and adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families
Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies and interventions
Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
Qualification
Required
Valid Virginia Special Education teaching license or eligibility
Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Student-centered mindset and commitment to inclusive practices
Preferred
Experience working with Pre-K, elementary, or upper elementary students
