IT Support Representative
DENPRO, Inc. is an IT consulting firm based in Southern Maryland that provides various IT solutions for businesses nationwide. They are seeking a motivated IT Support Specialist to provide high-quality technical support to end users in a fast-paced environment, primarily focusing on Windows and Linux desktop environments.

Responsibilities
Answer phones and respond to service requests to assist customers with unique IT-related issues
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across Windows and Red Hat Linux desktop operating systems
Provide Tier 1–2 desktop support, including application support, user access issues, and peripheral devices
Enter, track, and document customer issues and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system
Apply structured troubleshooting techniques, logical thinking, and root-cause analysis
Support and maintain user accounts and access using Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and related identity tools
Perform basic administration and support of DNS, DHCP, and general networking concepts
Support collaboration and productivity tools, including Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
Assist with endpoint management and device compliance using Microsoft Intune
Follow established IT policies, procedures, and security best practices
Deliver excellent customer service while managing multiple priorities in a professional manner
Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership through resolution
Qualification
Required
Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background investigation, if required)
Valid driver's license
Minimum 2 years of experience providing end-user technical support
Hands-on experience troubleshooting a wide range of end-user hardware and software issues
Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint administration, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft Intune
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Self-motivated, independent learner, and effective problem solver
Proven commitment to excellent customer service
High school or equivalent (Required)
IT Help Desk Related: 2 years (Required)
Driver's License (Required)
Ability to Commute: Sunnyvale, CA 94089 (Required)
Preferred
Experience supporting Linux desktop environments, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), is required or strongly preferred
CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred, but not required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
