Responsibilities

Manage a warehouse team including Material Handlers, Welders and Drivers
Lead all warehouse operations in accordance with Himmel’s standards:
Oversee receiving & shipping processes
Coordinate and manage deliveries & drivers
Manage & Schedule work orders for welding & door fabrication team
Maintain accurate inventory counts
Customer pick up process
Maintain documentation and accurate records of warehouse activities including:
Shop production (Billable hours vs. Payroll hours)
Staffing and training needs
Inventory management
Follow safety goals and guidelines for Nashville location and conduct frequent audits for weekly safety updates
Prepare and maintain a variety of records and reports related to warehouse activities, personnel, and equipment
Support Inventory Manager to ensure inventory control, adjustments and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and forecasting
Possess basic computer skills with the ability to use typical office programs
Assist with organization and storage plans for shop consumables, tools & inventory in proper locations
Participating in training staff in the safe and proper use of equipment to ensure preservation of employees' safety and product value through Himmel’s warehouse operations
Maintaining awareness and knowledge of condition and location of fleet vehicles
Providing direct performance feedback, positive morale and behavior to model, and appropriate encouragement to direct warehouse staff, customers and branch team members
Must know how to operate a forklift
