Portland Community College is the largest post-secondary institution in Oregon, serving approximately 80,000 students. They are seeking part-time faculty for the Electronic Engineering Technology Department to teach courses as needed during the academic year.

Responsibilities

Identify applicants based on course assignment needs during the Academic Year
Consider applications for substitute assignments as well as full term class assignments
List the current PCC courses which you would be able to teach

Qualification

Master's degree in engineeringIndustrial experienceBachelor's degree in engineeringAssociate's degree in engineeringTeaching skills

Required

Master's degree in electrical/electronic engineering
Three (3) years of full-time, industrial work experience in the electrical/ electronic engineering field
Official transcripts are required to be submitted within 2 weeks of offer date for degrees required in the stated Instructor Qualifications
Instructors shall have earned required academic credentials at a regionally accredited US institution or a foreign institution having the equivalent of regional accreditation
Instructors with credentials from other countries will have their transcripts evaluated by agencies that have good standing with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services to establish fulfillment of this standard
