The Project and Policy Analyst 2 will engage in policy development, support municipal climate planning, and facilitate stakeholder dialogue to enhance regional resilience to climate impacts.

Required

Working knowledge of municipal climate action and adaptation planning processes

Working knowledge of MailChimp, social media platforms, and/or Squarespace

Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Demonstrates ability to use sound judgement in responding to issues and concerns

Bachelor's Degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training

Background Check: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation

Live Scan Background Check: A Live Scan background check must be completed prior to the start of employment

Age Requirement: Candidate(s) must be 18 years or older to be eligible to be hired

COVID and Flu Vaccinations: The position is subject to providing evidence of inoculation

Occasional attendance at offsite conferences and meetings

Preferred

2+ years Experience in business administration and coordinating logistics with partners

2+ years Experience in policy research, specifically preparing, editing, and modifying documents including research reports, manuscripts, presentations and proposals

1+ years Experience in grant writing and implementation of grant-funded projects

1+ years Experience in facilitating community-engaged meetings and relationship building

1+ years Experience creating and managing newsletters, social media content, and other public-facing communications materials

Proficient in ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes

Occasional evening and/or weekend work
