District Sales Manager - OEM
Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions, part of the Spirax Group, is a leader in manufacturing peristaltic pumps and fluid path technologies. The District Sales Manager will focus on developing new customers and managing key accounts in the OEM sector, particularly within the Biopharma and Medical Device markets, while ensuring customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Responsibilities
Develop new customers from leads and manage key accounts to grow sales
Respond to leads and sell WMFTG products for inclusion in OEM fluid path and equipment projects
Quote and negotiate pricing and business agreements
Act as liaison between factory and customers for custom engineered products
Communicate the value proposition of WMFTG brands to Biopharma, Pharma, and Medical Device markets
Monitor multi-year project pipeline from design phase through production
Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of technical, pricing, delivery, or quality issues
Lead customer experience management, working closely with support teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 3+ years related experience
Experience in Life Sciences, particularly Biopharmaceutical or Medical Device
OEM sales experience
Proven track record of consultative sales of premium products
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Ability to manage complex projects and multi-year pipelines
Preferred
Engineering or Biological Sciences degree
Experience selling single-use products or related consumables in biopharma
Knowledge of process engineering, electro-mechanical design, and regulatory systems
Familiarity with electro-mechanical components (pumps, valves, motors)
Understanding of supply chain and production planning
