Responsibilities
Coordinate and expedite the acquisition, movement, and delivery of materials, parts, and equipment to meet project schedules and contractual requirements
Track purchase orders, communicate with vendors and internal teams, and resolve supply chain issues to minimize delays
Ensure material status is accurately documented and reported to support project execution
Qualification
Required
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Experience with Microsoft Office
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both collaboratively and individually
Critical Thinking Skills
Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed
Experience tracking and expediting material orders through procurement and delivery cycles
Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Familiarity with inventory management and ERP systems
Skilled in maintaining accurate material status reports and documentation
Experience resolving supply chain and logistics issues proactively
Ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
High school diploma or equivalent required
3–5 years of experience in material expediting, logistics, or supply chain roles
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Relevant certifications in supply chain or logistics a plus
Knowledge of government procurement and contracting processes preferred
Prior experience supporting DoD or Federal Government contracts preferred
