Part Time Faculty Interest Pool - Computer Information Systems
Portland Community College is the largest post-secondary institution in Oregon, serving approximately 80,000 students. They are seeking part-time faculty for the Computer Information Systems Department to fulfill various teaching assignments as the need arises during the academic year.

Responsibilities
Review applications in this pool as the need arises for new part-time faculty in this area
Consider applications for substitute assignments as well as full term class assignments
List the current PCC courses which you would be able to teach
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or STEM-related bachelor's degree
Four (4) years full-time equivalent non-teaching industry experience in the field
Instructor must have completed college-level algebra or higher Math
Official transcripts are required to be submitted within 2 weeks of offer date for degrees required in the stated Instructor Qualifications
Instructors shall have earned required academic credentials at a regionally accredited US institution or a foreign institution having the equivalent of regional accreditation
Instructors with credentials from other countries will have their transcripts evaluated by agencies that have good standing with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services to establish fulfillment of this standard
