Responsibilities
Must have training with one or more of the following:
Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
RF Circuit Design
Analog Circuit Design
Digital Electronics Design
FPGA Design
Algorithm Development (Pattern Recognition and Object Tracking)
LabView Automated Test Stand Design
Requires strong oral/written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Advanced troubleshooting skills required
Will be required to work independently and with interdepartmental teams
Will be required to assist in the design and development of electronic systems
Will be required to write or assist in the development of test plans and test procedures
Will be required to assist in the automation of relevant test procedures and/or design and development of test fixtures
Will be required to assist in lab and field tests of electronic systems
Familiarity with AS9100 is desirable
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of analog circuit design, digital electronics design, digital signal processing
3+ years experience with electronic circuits and systems design, integration and testing
Experience with the use of standard lab test equipment
Knowledge of project engineering methods and troubleshooting techniques for electronic circuitry
Knowledge of test report and procedure generation
Strong oral/written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Advanced troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and with interdepartmental teams
Ability to assist in the design and development of electronic systems
Ability to write or assist in the development of test plans and test procedures
Ability to assist in the automation of relevant test procedures and/or design and development of test fixtures
Ability to assist in lab and field tests of electronic systems
Preferred
LabVIEW desirable
Experience and training in the military/aerospace industry highly desirable
Knowledge of motor drives and controls is desirable
Familiar with one or more of the following: OrCAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW or VHDL
Defense or aerospace industry experience desired
PCB layout experience desired
Knowledge of RF systems or motor drives and controls is desirable
Familiarity with AS9100 is desirable
