Responsibilities

Act as primary point of contact for assigned construction suppliers
Manage Supplier Relationship Globally
Perform commercial supplier qualification activities to ensure the commercial development of strategic suppliers
Maintain collaborative relationships with supplier(s) while effectively resolving supplier performance/capability issues to ensure alignment with strategic direction
Ensure suppliers follow Micron’s business ethics, code-of-conduct programs, and corporate safety policies and social responsibility initiatives
Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organization including Executive Leadership and enlist senior management to reinforce commitment and involvement from suppliers
Lead or participate in negotiations for construction contract and incorporate savings targets and contract requirements into conversations
Lead sourcing events/RFQ process
Develop a contract strategy for each project, including to create, negotiate, supervise and implement contracted terms and conditions
Align with Global Facilities collaborators and sites teams to build comprehensive view of supplier performance
Contract Administration ensuring all contractual obligations are being fulfilled by both Owner and Contractor
Lead overall Strategic Supplier relationships for construction category
Collaborate internally to drive key performance measures/metrics for Strategic Suppliers and supervise supplier performance against expectations to ensure continuous supplier improvement
Prioritize and deliver on strategic supplier events, such as Quarterly Business Reviews, Annual Supplier Evaluations, and Executive Review Meetings
Participate in supplier segmentation and strategic goal setting
Provide market intelligence and price trends to relevant internal partners on a well-adapted schedule
Apply should-cost models for assigned categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global marketplace
Serve as the subject matter authority for construction procurement category and share knowledge with key partners and Indirect teams to enable more effective planning, forecasting and execution

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering Management, Business, Finance, Construction Management or related field
Procurement functions including contract execution, change management, administration and auditing
Category Management including supplier sourcing, qualification and selection for direct services, indirect services and capital projects
Large project management (>$500M project value)
Project Expediting/Management
Establishing master service agreements (MSA's)/Long Term agreements using Contract strategy & negotiations for mechanical, electrical and plumbing categories
Project scheduling, coordinating procurement, legal, construction, change management teams to achieve schedule requirements
Contract Lifecycle management under different phases and discipline of capital projects (Design/CSA/MEP/Commissioning/Closeout)
Procurement contracting and lifecycle activities, including negotiation, execution, and administration—managing CORs, validating payment applications, and resolving disputes
Core principles of electronics, Strong foundation in understanding the technical and infrastructure needs of high-precision environment for construction of Semiconductor Fabrication Facility Construction
Supply Chain Logistics & Site Establishment
Conducting pricing negotiations on high value ($500M+) construction projects
