Responsibilities
Perform mechanical and performance testing on plumbing and water-flow products
Set up and operate test equipment for pressure, flow, endurance, and corrosion testing
Use mechanical measurement tools including pressure gauges, flow meters, load cells, and pressure transducers
Complete up to 150 work requests annually with clear, written test reports
Record, analyze, and report test data to support engineering and product development teams
Maintain test equipment, fixtures, and mechanical test setups
Qualification
Required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field
2+ years of experience in mechanical product testing, manufacturing, or engineering lab environments
Hands-on experience with mechanical systems and test equipment
Ability to read and follow test procedures and mechanical documentation
Computer literacy required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and some Access
Preferred
Testing of plumbing products, valves, piping systems, or fluid-handling components
Manufacturing or product development lab experience
