Responsibilities
Supporting investment and deal teams in new business acquisitions and/or sales processes
Performing the review of federal income tax returns and review of estimated/extension tax payments
Performing the review of the quarterly income tax accruals, tax account reconciliations, deferred tax items, and current and deferred tax for provision reporting purposes
Gathering, organizing, calculating and correctly utilizing data from the general ledger and accounting (VEGA) and trading (VISTA) systems
Managing the response of federal income tax audits and jurisdictional tax notices
Assistance with Pillar 2 calculations for North America
Identifying tax savings opportunities and performing tax planning
Other duties as assigned. This job description is subject to change at any time
Qualification
Required
12 or more years of federal income tax experience with equivalent federal corporate tax (including consolidations) compliance and accrual (ASC 740 / IAS 12) experience in business or industry
Experience in managing a team in a multinational corporation
Advanced Excel skills
Preferred
CPA license
Experience with OneSource Income Tax
Exposure to partnership tax
Exposure to international and/or state income tax
Working knowledge of tax implications related to Renewable Energy projects and transactions
