Responsibilities
Support routine analytical services for other teams and contribute to method development discussions
Perform analytical tests using advanced metrology tools such as:
Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) (including a new high-resolution system)
Atomic Force Microscope (AFM)
Confocal 3D Laser Microscope
Microscope FTIR
Develop and refine test methodologies for nanoparticle detection and characterization
Organize, analyze, and present data to senior scientists and engineers
Qualification
Required
Open-minded and eager to learn new techniques
Strong ability to analyze and organize data effectively
Knowledge in analytical or organic chemistry
Collaborative, communicative, and detail-oriented
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Must be a currently enrolled student
Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May/June through August/September
Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in an internship program
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work in a cleanroom, work on the computer, and work on sample preparation
Preferred
Majors: Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science
Graduation Year: Preferably 2026 or 2027 (students entering junior or senior year)
