Responsibilities

Engage with residents to live full, active lives. Promoting Resident independence

Patiently participate with residents and assist as necessary with activities of daily living and medication management

Provide a safe and supportive environment that serves individuals who do not meet the skilled-nursing criteria of a nursing home placement

Laundry and Resident shower assistance

Setting up dining room for breakfast service

Minimal shift documentation

Communicating observations in daily shift report

Qualification

Elderly careCognitively impairedCompassionate careTeamworkCommunication skills

Required

High school diploma/GED preferred

Sincere desire to work with elderly population

Experience with cognitively impaired Residents a plus
