They are seeking a Process Engineering Intern to join their Manufacturing Operations team in Billerica, MA for the Summer 2026 season, where the intern will assist in projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and driving process solutions.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance in projects which improve operational efficiency and deliver savings which support corporate objectives, such as on-time delivery, productivity, scrap reduction, etc

Identify root cause and propose solutions

Apply manufacturing best practices to drive safety, quality, reliability and predictability into everything we do

Work with teams to identify problems, analyze information and develop and implement process solutions

Assist in directing and controlling processes in accordance with defined policies and procedures

Currently enrolled student

Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May/June through August/September

Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in an internship program

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lift 30 lbs and be able to work in a cleanroom environment

Motivated and self-directed team player with good interpersonal skills

Ability to reach out, communicate and influence personnel at all levels within the organization

Demonstrated hands on problem solving utilizing good engineering principles

Ability to work with a diverse team in terms of background and skill sets

Embody a sense of ownership and passion of the process and drive improvements through creative solutions

Desired Major(s): Mechanical Engineering

Graduation date of December 2026 or later
