Responsibilities
You will plan and deploy new or modified hardware and operating systems and applications software
You will manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment
You will resolve hardware and software interface and interoperability problems
You will apply information security/ information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of systems administration services
You will design new systems and techniques to support the organization in development, implementation and maintenance of national, DoD, and DON security systems
You will communicate and collaborate with the Command ISSM and Command Business Office in areas of mutual interest and impact
You will monitor system recovery processes to ensure security features and procedures are properly restored and function correctly
You will ensure comprehensive cybersecurity measures are implemented, followed and recorded in a timely and accurate manner. To include, but not limited to; security scans, STIGS, vulnerability assessments etc
You will ensure that any information system inspections, tests, and reviews are synchronized and coordinated with affected parties and organizations, as appropriate
