Technical Expert

They are seeking a Technical Expert to support the U.S. Air Force’s Ground Based Strategic Deterrent program, responsible for analyzing user requirements, leading design activities, and developing technical documentation.

Responsibilities
Analyzes user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications
Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities
Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations
Develops technical documentation to include system architecture and system design documentation
Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
Interacts with the Product Owner regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts
Qualification
Required
5 years' experience for Level 1, 10 years' experience for Level 2, 15 years' experience for Level 3. 4 years of additional experience may be substituted for Bachelor's Degree
Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline
3 years of DoD experience
Experience modeling with Cameo Enterprise Architecture
Experience with SysML, UML, or DoDAF modeling languages
Active DoD Secret clearance obtained or adjudicated within the past 6 years and SAP/SCI eligibility
Preferred
Familiarity in Agile, C/C++, and real-time processing including processes threads, scheduling, synchronization mechanisms and memory management required
Experience with full software life-cycle: specification, design, implementation, integration, debug and maintenance required
Experience with JIRA/Confluence
Experience with safety critical and nuclear critical software development
Familiarity with a structured process driven software development environment including peer reviews of all work products, using a revision control system, defect tracking and build release practices required
Experience with Git products
Experience with applied automated testing techniques including unit and integration testing
Experience with test framework/application and system verification
