Responsibilities
Perform account reconciliations, including cash, accounts receivable/payable, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accruals
Support month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure deadlines are met
Assist with chart of accounts maintenance and ensure correct coding of transactions
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and industry standards
Maintain accurate AR aging schedules and resolve billing discrepancies with customers
Follow up with customers on past-due balances
Provide weekly AR status reports and trends for corporate finance leadership
Identify opportunities to streamline AP/AR and general accounting workflows
Recommend improvements to the process as required
Other duties as assigned
Special projects and other functions as required by manager
Assist with accounts payable as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience; hospitality industry experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Strong Organization Skills
A good understanding of financial operating systems and procedures
