Senior Environmental Engineer (PE)

Responsibilities
Identify shortcomings and suggest improvements to existing processes, systems, and procedures, then deliver a plan for a small element of a change management program with guidance from a project/program manager
Work within established knowledge management systems to deliver preset outcomes for an area of responsibility
Elicit complex business requirements using a variety of methods, such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis, to express the requirements in terms of target user roles and goals
Conduct complex feasibility studies from a technological and organizational perspective and document findings to complete cost-benefit analysis on implementing changes to business processes, products, or business unit structure
Deliver required outcomes by managing day-to-day relationships with contract service providers while working within an established contract management plan
Develop product specifications and design test procedures and standards
Help develop procedures for an area of the organization and monitor their implementation
Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems
Manage a portfolio of projects while reporting to senior colleagues
Manage relationships with small clients while also helping senior colleagues manage relationships with larger key clients and customers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or related Engineering field
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Tennessee required
Must reside in the state of Tennessee
Strong understanding of environmental regulation and compliance
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and swiftly adapt to changing client needs
Proven excellence at all stages of the project life cycle, from preparing bids, project strategy development, to project deliverables
OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER training
Preferred
At least 10 years of experience in soil and groundwater assessment and remediation preferred
