Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers in finding books and making recommendations
Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately
Stock shelves, organize displays, and maintain store tidiness
Assist with special events, readings, and book clubs as needed
Helping manage inventory and restocking
Provide excellent customer service and foster a welcoming atmosphere
Qualification
Required
Passion for books and reading
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Availability to work all hours of operation
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time and move heavy boxes of books
Preferred
Prior bookstore retail or customer service experience
