Responsibilities
Maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with GAAP for multiple entities
Plan, direct, and coordinate ledger maintenance, report preparation, and operating financial statistics
Analyze financial data to provide the complete, accurate and timely financial statements
Maintain and compile necessary audit schedules for the annual financial audits
Identify improvements to existing accounting processes
Evaluate, develop, document and implement effective accounting procedures and controls
Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts to general ledger by researching discrepancies and determining appropriate course of action
Manage month end billing and revenue review
Prepare, post and monitor recurring and non-recurring journal entries ensuring information is accurate and up to date
Research and document various accounting methods
Qualification
Required
Accounting Major with a solid academic record
Creative problem solving
Budgeting experience
Strong technology skills including Excel
Exceptional organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative work environment and independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and business solutions software skills
Preferred
CPA preferred
