Responsibilities

Adjust and operate modern survey equipment, including robotic total stations and Trimble GPS
Read and interpret construction plans and specifications to perform construction staking and layout
Record survey measurements and descriptive data using notes, drawings, and sketches
Conduct property research and collect field data for boundary surveys
Process survey data and create boundary, topographic, right-of-way, and as-built surveys using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson Survey
Report directly to a Senior Professional Land Surveyor

Required

Minimum 2-year Survey/Civil Associates Degree required
3+ years of related surveying experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Carlson Survey
Ability to work on construction and project sites while complying with all applicable safety requirements
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Surveying or Engineering
PS, LS, or SIT License
