Responsibilities

Performs quality inspections for both dimensional and cosmetic checks of manufactured products; ensures products quality meets company’s regulations and standards; enters dimensional and cosmetic data into Center for Audit Quality (CAQ) software utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems
Measures dimensions of products to verify conformation to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers, etc
Inspects the quality of raw materials received from suppliers utilizing visual checks and Incoming Goods Control (IGC) module
Records inspection or tests data such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded; marks items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status
Documents inspection results utilizing written reports and electronic data entry; maintain necessary files and records for quality control inspections and other related documentation
Reports non-conformance issues to proper personnel; communicates with various personnel issues relating to quality
Attends meetings as required or assigned
Maintains a clean work environment
Performs related duties as required or assigned

Required

Knowledge of computer software Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, and Access

Ability to organize and prioritize work

High School Diploma or equivalent
