Materials Expeditor

Responsibilities

Locating and distributing materials to specified production areas, manually or using handcart, hand truck, or forklift
Examining material received, verifying parts numbers, checking discrepancies such as damaged or unmarked parts, and assembling of material for kits
Comparing Production Order specifications to material used at workstations to verify appropriate batch assignment
Working with supervision and the Production Coordinator Manager to resolve problems with product flow through Inspection
Fulfilling requests for materials and supporting materials audits
Performing inventory transactions using business system
Using component serialization/marking
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Assisting manufacturing and shipping personnel as needed to meet production and shipping schedules
Working closely with other Operations departments
Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
Represents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Required

High school Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to lift up to 80lbs
Ability to use a pallet jack
Familiarity of Windows & Microsoft Office suites
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work with a high degree of organizational and technical competence
