As a Solutions Engineer, you will engage in both pre-sales and post-sales processes, serve as the technical lead between clients and internal teams, and collaborate with the sales team to deliver Proof of Value engagements.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical lead between clients, partners, and our internal teams at Darktrace
Deliver value stories to customers based on direct, market-recognized experience
Contribute to regional sales, POV, and GTM strategy
Discover and create prospect-specific quantifiable value statements that greatly impact deals
Align, partner, and strategize with Channel Sales Engineers/Architects on prospective and in-progress opportunities
Work well with aligned Account Executives and other internal stakeholders and teams
Be a reliable member of the local region, providing cover and support to customers and peers when needed
Travel regionally to client or channel sites, minimum 3 days/week

Required

3-5+ years in a software sales engineering or SOC Analyst role
Strong knowledge in both on-premises and cloud networking and technologies
Ability to consult at all levels (C-level, SOC, engineers, buyers, etc.)
Experience in presenting technical Network Security Solutions to Clients and Channel Partners within region
Support peers as a subject matter expert and impact player
The ability to work as part of a team in an innovative and fast-paced environment while delivering to deadlines
Passion for staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and a willingness to continuously develop your skillset

Preferred

Experience in cybersecurity is strongly preferred
Knowledge around various cybersecurity solutions (NDR, EDR, XDR, Email Security, CNAPP)
