$750/wk - $750/wkThe Contemporary American Theater Festival at Shepherd University is dedicated to producing contemporary plays and is seeking a Box Office Manager to lead the Audience Services Team. This role involves managing box office operations, training interns, and ensuring an exceptional festival experience for attendees.

Responsibilities
Manage venue box office and ticketing operations throughout the Festival
Train and coach box office interns including processing tickets, reservations, and donations in CRM (Spektrix); payment management; and providing excellent in-person customer service
Train and coach concessions interns including merchandising, sales processing, and superior customer service
Manage and assist House Manager and house manager inters, creating a welcoming environment for all Festival attendees
Assist house management team to coordinate accessible services and technology
Manage and assist Group Sales Manager to provide on-site support for Festival groups
Reconcile daily cash, check, and credit card sales and prepare financial reports
Provide excellent customer service to audience members over the phone and in-person
Act as concierge, providing information about dining, lodging, and other activities
Assist box office interns to manage will-call and wait lists
Create and distribute weekly schedules to box office and concessions interns
Assist in keeping all venue public spaces clean, safe, and organized
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum experience: Experienced
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Enthusiasm for working with and assisting the public
Attention to detail
Skill with databases and ticketing technology
Valuing and practicing Anti-Racist and Anti-Oppressive (ARAO) efforts
