Responsibilities
Lead quality documentation and execution: PPAPs, FAIs, capability studies
Build and track KPIs that matter (not vanity metrics)
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D (non-negotiable)
Prepare for and support internal and external audits
Manage calibration programs and ensure audit readiness
Partner cross-functionally to improve processes, reduce defects, and raise the bar
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
4–5+ years in quality and/or continuous improvement within manufacturing
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 (audit experience a plus)
Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, MSA, capability studies
Comfortable reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Experience with ERP and QMS systems
Preferred
Background working with steel, stainless steel, or aluminum
