Instructional Designer – NAM Training & Development
Hitachi Energy is seeking an Instructional Designer for their North American HUB for Transformers. This role involves creating engaging training experiences and collaborating with subject matter experts to develop accessible content that meets business goals.

Responsibilities
Design and develop presentations, e‑learning modules, videos, and supporting materials
Create storyboards, scripts, and interactive activities aligned with learning objectives
Write clear, concise content that simplifies complex concepts
Integrate visuals, animations, and interactive elements to boost engagement
Ensure accessibility standards and user-friendly digital experiences
Review and edit materials for accuracy, consistency, and compliance
Refine training materials based on SME and learner feedback
Explore new tools and trends to continually enhance learning impact
Qualification
Required
Minimum 4 years of experience in instructional design or training content development
Proficiency with e‑learning tools (Articulate 360, Captivate, iSpring, EasyGenerator)
Advanced PowerPoint design and visual storytelling skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
Skilled communicator and collaborative partner
Preferred
Video editing/graphic design skills (Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite)
LMS experience
SCORM/xAPI
Accessibility knowledge
