Facilities Maintenance Technician (Part-Time)

The Facilities Maintenance Technician (FMT) is responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of all clinic locations, managing day-to-day facilities issues, and collaborating with various teams to maintain a safe and functional environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary, on-the-ground point of contact for all facilities requests from clinical teams, owning issues from intake through resolution
Manage and resolve day-to-day facilities issues across all Herself Health clinics to ensure spaces remain safe, clean, and fully operational for patients and staff
Perform and coordinate preventative maintenance, on-site repairs, and emergency response across clinic locations, escalating to external vendors as needed
Directly engage, schedule, and oversee third-party vendors (janitorial, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, waste removal, security), ensuring timely, high-quality completion of work
Review, track, and approve facilities-related invoices, service agreements, and contractor expenses in partnership with the Sr. Director, Clinical Operations, maintaining alignment with budget expectations
Collaborate with Compliance, Clinical Operations, and People Operations to directly support safety initiatives, OSHA requirements, and regulatory readiness
Order, restock, and manage inventory of facility-related supplies to ensure clinics are consistently prepared and functional
Perform and coordinate general upkeep of clinics

Required

High school diploma minimum
2+ years of experience in administration, property management, or building operations
Experience supporting multiple sites or locations
Familiarity with OSHA, safety compliance, or healthcare regulatory environments
Strong vendor management and contract coordination skills
Working knowledge of building systems, maintenance coordination, and workplace safety standards
Ability to travel locally between clinic sites
Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience supporting clinic openings or buildouts
Project management experience
