Responsibilities

Own and drive commercial performance across assigned territories (US Northeast Region & Canada), with full accountability for both sell-in targets and sell-out performance
Develop and execute account and territory strategies aligned with ASSOULINE’s global commercial vision, balancing operational execution with long-term growth
Manage and grow a portfolio of wholesale, nationwide, and non-reseller trade accounts, including luxury hospitality, corporate gifting, and interior design clients
Monitor account performance (sell-in vs. sell-out, inventory levels, replenishment cycles, door productivity) and take corrective actions to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
Build strong, long-term relationships with retail and trade partners, acting as a strategic advisor through performance insights and market intelligence
Identify, prospect, and onboard new customers and channels aligned with ASSOULINE’s positioning and growth objectives
Maintain a high level of daily customer contact and manage the end-to-end order process in close collaboration with Sales Support, Logistics, Accounting, Marketing, and Visual Merchandising teams
Negotiate commercial terms in line with the brand’s pricing structure, discount policies, and commercial guidelines
Drive sell-through via in-store activations, launches, visual merchandising execution, tailored commercial programs, and partner training
Provide ongoing feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to internal stakeholders

Required

4-5 years wholesale sales experience, preferably in the luxury and/or lifestyle sector
Experience in North American markets
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
Excellent negotiation skills, strong commercial flair
Hands-on and resourceful
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to analyze figures to draw conclusions and formulate business recommendations
Experience in working in fast-paced, agile commercial environments
Ability to work across multiple teams, markets, and time zones
Understanding of inventory management, merchandising, accounting, finance, logistics, retail operations, marketing and communications
Interest in culture, lifestyle, design, fashion and luxury, and awareness of trends within these fields
