Talent Acquisition Assistant (temporary)

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis. The Talent Acquisition Assistant will support the National Talent Acquisition team with various administrative, recruiting, and onboarding processes across all USTA National offices.

Responsibilities

Assist in the recruitment of seasonal, part-time, full-time, and internship positions as assigned by the Talent Acquisition team
Draft offer letters for full-time positions, execute e-signatures through Adobe, and file signed offer letters promptly
Assist with the organization/filing of job descriptions (new, updated, drafted)
Support sourcing strategies and manage job postings on job boards, including but not limited to the USTA Career site, LinkedIn, Indeed, Teamwork, and Handshake
Coordinate with Talent Acquisition, hiring managers, and candidates to schedule virtual and onsite interviews
Update candidate statuses and employee information in the ATS daily to maintain accurate data
Communicate with candidates to provide updates on their candidacy
Execute onboarding processes, including running background checks, sending digital onboarding packets, maintaining electronic documents, and tracking onboarding task completion
Assist with the US Open recruitment and onboarding as needed
Conduct applicant screenings for undergraduate internships, part-time positions, and seasonal opportunities
Assist with running reports and/or gathering data from the ATS or other recruiting platforms, including but not limited to Time-to-Fill, EEO, Headcount, Vacancies, and Sources
Track completion/status of required HR trainings for new and returning staff
Collect required documents from all new and returning staff for I-9 compliance; prompt completion of the I-9 form when needed

Required

Available to work between 28-35 hours per week from early February to end of May; must be in the office at least 3 days per week
2-3 years of work experience in an administrative support role required; Human Resources or Talent Acquisition is preferred
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Suites
Able to maintain confidentiality- this position requires work with confidential information and documents
Strong organization and communication skills; experience with scheduling/calendaring interviews and meetings preferred
Efficient time management skills; must be able to balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously
Accurate and thorough, demonstrated consistent high-quality results
Agile: able to manage and prioritize competing demands, not easily mixed up by shifting deadlines or unexpected events
Punctual and reliable

Preferred

Human Resources or Talent Acquisition experience
Prior experience working in an ATS preferred; ICIMS and/or ADP experience is a plus
Experience with scheduling/calendaring interviews and meetings preferred
