Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of hand tools and power tools, utilizing CAD software and engineering principles to create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and manufacturing, to contribute to the development and improvement of hand tools and power tools, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
Support the prototyping and testing of new product designs, analyzing performance, durability, and safety to identify areas for improvement and optimization
Assist in optimizing product designs for efficient manufacturing processes, considering factors such as cost, materials, and production feasibility
Qualification
Required
Be a rising junior or senior with a target graduation date of 2027 or 2028
Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering
Maintains strong academic credentials
Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling and detailed design
Successfully manages strong academics alongside extracurricular activities
