Responsibilities
Facilitate the integration of monetization considerations into early-stage product planning, including defining use cases, competitive differentiation, and market positioning
Govern the process for defining and validating pricing and packaging strategies, ensuring alignment with overall product goals and market dynamics
Coordinate the gathering of key inputs, including COGS assumptions, market research, and competitive pricing benchmarks, ensuring they are readily available and utilized in the product design phase
Establish frameworks, tools, and review cadences that improve visibility and alignment around cost insights across Product, Engineering, and Finance, ensuring that teams have the necessary information to make informed decisions
Define and track key success metrics for monetization initiatives, ensuring that data is collected and analysed to inform future strategies
Curate summaries and dashboards that track readiness and decision progress at each stage of the product lifecycle, providing leadership with visibility into key milestones and dependencies
Identify friction points in lifecycle and planning processes and implement practical improvements, streamlining workflows and enhancing efficiency
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in SaaS program management, consulting, finance, or related roles
Strong understanding of SaaS business models, monetization frameworks, and product lifecycle management
Proven ability to manage cross-functional programs and influence without authority
Hands-on expertise in financial modelling, data analysis, and market research
Experience building frameworks or tools that improve pricing and packaging decision-making
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to distil complex inputs into clear recommendations for executives and stakeholders
Education: BA/BS in business, finance, or technical field required; MBA or consulting background a plus
