Responsibilities
Set-up and conduct in vitro experiments in accordance with protocols and standard operating procedures
Efficiently carry out procedures necessary to complete each project with minimal supervision
As appropriate, perform procedures under aseptic conditions
Actively assist in development and execution of novel testing protocols and overall assay development
Maintain cell lines
Prepare test solutions in accordance with directions
Meticulously maintain precise records in accordance with good laboratory practices
Assist in writing of reports
Follow all PSL safety requirements
Oversees all laboratory assays and day to day procedures
Creates and maintains lab assay schedule
Leads training of In Vitro Scientists
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must have 2 years of industry experience with cell culture
Preferred
B.S. degree or equivalent experience in laboratory animal medicine, toxicology, animal science, or biology is preferred
Prefer someone with hands-on experience in a GLP setting
