Responsibilities

Check parts for visual and dimensional defects in all production departments

Check in process inspection paperwork / IPC sheets

Communicates potential discrepancies and process control problems and writes up non-conformance reports if necessary

Report all issues to department leads and supervisors

Works with other Quality department employees, production employees (Operators, Leads and Technicians) and production Supervisors

Other duties as required by supervisor

Required

High School diploma or equivalent

Must be able to instruct operators how to use all functional gages

Must be able to read and understand measuring devices (i.e., measuring tape, square, etc.)

Must have thorough verbal and written communication skills to accurately describe quality conditions

Must be organized and able to operate with some degree of independence

Able to read and interpret blueprints/work instructions

Positive attitude, willingness to cooperate with others

Must be able to work individually or as part of a team

Preferred

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Previous experience in a manufacturing operation desirable. Minimum 12 months' experience preferred

Prior experience with hand tools is desired
