Responsibilities

Apply your classroom-learned skills to a program supporting the defense of our country

Work on projects that support some of our nation’s fundamental defense services

Work with collaborative teams on various technical projects associated with our core mission

Manage laboratory operations effectively

Use laboratory equipment and tools proficiently

Understand laboratory safety protocols and procedures

Maintain and organize lab records and documentation

Use office software such as the Microsoft Office Suite

Collaborate with lab personnel and researchers with effective verbal and written communication skills

Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues and identify operational inefficiencies within the lab

Ensure lab cleanliness and orderliness

Adapt to changing lab requirements and schedules

Maintain confidentiality and the integrity of lab data

Analyze and improve lab processes

Address issues proactively before they escalate

Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of business principles

Administration Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program with a preference in a related field

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required

Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and tools

Thorough understanding of laboratory safety protocols and procedures

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Proficiency in using office software such as the Microsoft Office Suite

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues

Ability to identify operational inefficiencies within the lab
