Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for RESTful APIs and web applications

Perform API testing using tools like REST-assured, SuperTest, Postman

Implement automation frameworks using Cypress, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java

Develop BDD test scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin

Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Leverage cloud platforms and device farms for testing: AWS, Azure, GCP, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, AWS Device Farm

(Optional/Good-to-Have) Contribute to mobile automation using Appium

(Optional/Good-to-Have) Work with KafkaJS implementations and Test Containers for integration testing

Required

Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript

Hands-on experience with Cypress for API/UI automation

Solid experience with REST API testing (REST-assured, SuperTest, Postman)

Familiarity with JavaScript testing frameworks: Playwright, Puppeteer, Jest, Mocha, Chai

Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Gherkin syntax)

Strong version control knowledge (Git, Git Flow)

Preferred

Exposure to KafkaJS and Test Containers

Mobile automation using Appium

Experience with cloud-based testing platforms and device farms: AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs

Experience working in CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Harness

Contribute to mobile automation using Appium

Work with KafkaJS implementations and Test Containers for integration testing
