Responsibilities
Manage and mentor Commercial Credit Analysts
Supervise proposed loan and matured loan assignments
Review Credit Offering Reports prior to submitting to the Chief Credit Officer for final review
Manage external loan review process
Underwrite complex credit requests presented to the Credit Department. Includes analyzing applicant financial information, credit, and collateral evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loans and providing recommendations
Examine, evaluate, and recommend risk rating and loan decision based on analysis
Notify Loan Operations when a loan has been decisioned
Compiles executed loan package for submitting to Loan Specialist for booking
Perform annual reviews on complex relationships as needed
Executes Account Monitoring Plans for accounts and/or relationships
Voting member of the Credit Loan Group
Serve as member of the Credit Policy Committee
Manage Directors Loan Committee process to include communicating proposed loans to Committee members, facilitating the meeting, and ensuring that Credit Offering Reports are properly documented as approved
Assure timely completion of underwriting packages
Ensure loan agreements are complete and accurate according to policy
Recommend appropriate changes to the Loan Policy and Loan Administration Manual
Assist Special Assets Officer as needed
Other duties may be assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Ten or more years of experience in credit analysis and loan underwriting in a financial institution or equivalent experience in loan review, auditing, or financial analysis required
Knowledge of Microsoft office products including Word and Excel
