Responsibilities
Architect and develop automation frameworks for satellite thermal design, analysis, and control systems
Optimize thermal control systems for temperature margins, power, and mass
Build integrated workflows connecting digital models to hardware testing and on-orbit performance
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation
Support the integration of thermal tools with CAD, CAE, and PLM platforms
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or similar)
5+ years of experience in satellite thermal design and analysis
Proficiency in Python for engineering automation
Experience with CAD (Siemens NX, CATIA) and thermal analysis software (Thermal Desktop, Ansys Icepak, NX Space Systems Thermal)
Player/coach mindset: mentoring junior engineers and driving process innovation
Preferred
Experience with DevSecOps/CI-CD for software development
Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
10+ years in core engineering roles in aerospace or related fields
