Quality Assurance/Continuous Improvement Manager
Cabinetworks Group is a nationwide team that designs and manufactures kitchen cabinets in the U.S. The QC/CI Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the plant’s Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance programs to ensure operational excellence, cost savings, and product quality goals.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and sustain a company-wide Continuous Improvement (CI) program grounded in Lean principles and Six Sigma methodology
Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, 5S initiatives, and Value Stream Mapping sessions to identify and eliminate waste
Develop and maintain CI programs, including TPM, DMAIC problem-solving, and cost reduction documentation
Train, mentor, and develop CI/Lean leaders and teams across the plant
Partner with managers and supervisors to drive measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety
Establish KPIs, track progress, and communicate CI results across all levels of the organization
Oversee all aspects of the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to resolve quality issues
Maintain and improve inspection processes, testing protocols, and quality documentation
Ensure adherence to ISO and customer quality standards; lead internal audits
Promote and maintain a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
Implement and conduct training programs on Lean, Six Sigma, and quality tools
Foster employee engagement and a problem-solving mindset across teams
Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to promote collaboration and transparency
Qualification
Required
5+ years of high-volume manufacturing experience with at least 3 years in Continuous Improvement and/or Quality roles
Proven experience implementing Lean, Kaizen, TPM, and Six Sigma initiatives
Strong project management, facilitation, and coaching skills
Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Six Sigma Certification
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field
Lean Certification or ASQ Certifications (CQE, CQM, CQA, CQT, or CRE)
ISO-9000 Lead Auditor Certificate
Experience with TPM or maintenance systems
Fluent written and spoken Spanish a plus
