Enterprise Systems Engineer

Responsibilities
Serve as program support to the government Program Manager (PM) with responsibility for technical knowledge of the assigned teams and programs/projects
Provide technical guidance and recommendations related to the integration of National Systems-based capabilities across the enterprise
Will engage with the national and tactical communities to collaboratively design, document, validate, and deliver architectures, systems and innovative ground capabilities in support of the national space architecture
Will support the Tech Director, portfolio management, mission threads, architecture, interoperability, cross-program strategies, and synchronized deliverables
Participate in architectural forums and architecture development efforts
Will support Agile-based program management and implementation of a Model-Base Systems Engineering approach
Lead IPT meetings and review process boards to include but not limited to ERBs, CCBs, SRRs, CDRs, PDRs, and PMRs
Support the PM in multiple areas which include systems, mission, and enterprise engineering; program management; acquisition support; analytic support; technical analysis; user requirement management/development; architecture; and customer outreach and support
Serve as technical expert in their assigned area
Other responsibilities include administrative and technical support to the Government leadership team, internal cross coordination, external mission partners and other DoD/IC customers
Qualification
Required
Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph
US Citizenship is required
Bachelor's OR Master's degree in STEM field
10+ years of experience
Background / knowledge in systems engineering OR national space and ground systems
Experience in Project and Systems Engineering in DoD or IC
Possess strong Systems Engineering discipline with strategic planning, architecture and requirements experience
Experience working space and ground programs from architecture-definition documentation (ADD/CONOPS) through requirements derivation and allocation, performance metric generation and assessment, test case development, and requirement closure tracing
Ability to facilitate commonality within the enterprise by defining, architecting, and integrating a multi-INT, multi-sensor, and multi-nodal processing capability
Ability to problem solve in a rapidly changing environment and interface with the customer daily
Track and respond to office tasking, build and present program briefings, and update project schedules and calendars
Preferred
Master's Degree in a STEM field
Familiarity with the IC and NRO enterprise architecture, DOD's space architecture, and translation of Statement of Capabilities and Enterprise Capability Document line items to CONOPs and architectures
Experience developing, editing, and updating system architecture and CONOPs documentation as the system mission model matures
Knowledge of Electro-optical, RADAR, SIGINT, Communications, Mission Management, and Mission processing systems supporting a space and ground architecture
Experience generating and codifying inter-segment and inter-system interface requirements for major space mission ground systems
Working knowledge of SAFe Agile or similar agile processes and JIRA and Confluence tools
Certified in one or more of the following: INCOSE (or DAWIA equivalent), OMG Systems Modeler, Agile, Project Management, MBSE
Experience with RDNG/DOORs requirements database management/repository, Rhapsody, SysML applications, Confluence, Jira, or JSMART
Understand how system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities are enabled by MBSE across the digital thread (the engineering lifecycle)
