They are seeking a Blending Mixer to assist in creating blends for their famous Kars and Second Nature products, playing a vital role in the production team.

Responsibilities

Safely and effectively operate Hi-Lo truck
Conduct quick math skills to ensure consistent results
Use computerized system to look up the specific trail mix combinations and calculate the order totals to be made for the day
Test product to determine what’s within quality standards of sale or to be recorded and discarded
Support sustainability goals by safeguarding ingredient requirements and regulating temperature levels to reduce waste
Conduct consistent updates to tracking logs for inventory, quality checks, order schedule, waste management, and more
Calculate and log the differences in inventory-equipment, fresh, raw, roasted, melted etc product to ensure proper blend
Follow exact blending plan to ensure consistency
Adhere to FDA, SQF (Quality & Food Safety), and OSHA Safety policies
Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
Maintain clean and safe work area
Preform other related duties as assigned

Qualification

Hi-Lo truck operationBasic math skillsComputer skillsEnglish proficiencyAttention to detailFast-paced environment

Required

High school diploma/equivalency
Ability to operate Hi-Lo truck standing and sitting (required)
Must have and prove basic math and computer skills
Must be able to read and write in English proficiently
Must be able to pay close attention to detail
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Standing for 8-10 hrs
Walking up and down stairs
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by company
