Sr. Underwriting Services Representative- Payroll Services
CopperPoint Insurance Companies is a leading provider of workers’ compensation and commercial insurance solutions. They are seeking a Sr. Underwriting Services Representative- Payroll Services to support the issuance, binding, and maintenance of new and renewal business while managing midterm policy changes and serving as a subject matter expert in the underwriting process.

Responsibilities
Support binding and issuing new business and renewal accounts, including editing, web searches and entering loss information
Support executing endorsement, cancellation, and reinstatement within defined guidelines
Support processing Broker of Service/Broker of Record requests
Support processing all other defined tasks associated with new product/or vertical launches
Assist mentoring and training new employees
Point of contact for agents/brokers and insureds
Assist with special projects and user assistance testing
Primary back-ups to Team Leads
Customer relations management
Qualification
Required
Requires Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
Requires the knowledge and skill levels acquired through undergraduate level studies especially in the areas of risk management, business administration, finance or marketing are a plus
Requires a minimum of three years work experience in insurance or an office environment
Knowledge and/or experience with commercial lines insurance
Must be detail oriented
Excellent customer service skills

Must be able to partner effectively with Payroll Services division

We provide some benefits at no cost to the employee (Basic Life Insurance and AD&D at two times an employee’s annual salary, Short- and Long-term Disability coverage, and Employee Assistance Plan).
Employees will accrue 0.0692 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) per paid hour, which may total 18 days a year.
In addition, employees will also receive 10 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
