Responsibilities

Coordinate and execute activities across nursery, increase, and testing programs

Lead crossing block execution, tagging, and sample collection for population advancement

Manage seed flow: cleaning, packaging, labeling, and shipment

Conduct drone flights and organize data for image-based analysis

Perform data summaries and statistical analyses using PBS or internal breeding tools

Maintain full traceability of lines and pedigrees across breeding stages

Supervise and train temporary field workers for notetaking, sampling, and pulling plants

Coordinate WS nursery material and local population management

Collaborate closely with Breeder and Breeder Assistant to ensure accurate and timely research execution

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently while coordinating cross-functional activities

Strong sense of accountability and operational excellence

Proficiency with research and statistical software (PBS, R, Excel)

Strong communication and leadership skills

Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field

Three (3) or more years of experience

Proven experience in small-plot field trials and data collection

Must have valid driver's license and meet MVR guidelines

Preferred

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
