The role involves producing quality machined parts through programming, setup, and machining, while ensuring adherence to safety procedures and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

Produce quality machined parts by programming, setting up, and final machining of all components
Write, store and retrieve programs for machined parts
Prioritize work orders for timely completion to accommodate customer needs
Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, troubleshoot malfunctions, and repair equipment as needed

Required

Minimum of 5 years' experience with CNC setup and programming
Set up, program, finish machine, and verify parts to print
G code proficiency
Skilled in programming and operating CNC Lathes
Competent with Mazak Mazatrol, Mazak Fusion, and Fanuc controls
Able to read and interpret blueprints
Strong math skills
Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints and/or specifications in order to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speed and feed rates
Can use inspection equipment such as micrometers, depth mic's, O.D. mic's, thread gauges and calipers

Preferred

Programming gantry robots, bar feeders, and sub spindles a plus
