Assistant Event Coordinator

GoHiya is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Event Coordinator to support the planning, setup, coordination, and execution of company and client events. This full-time role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on event operations and contributing to successful live events in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with event setup, breakdown, and on-site logistics coordination
Support Event Coordinators and Supervisors during event execution
Greet guests and provide accurate event information when needed
Ensure event spaces remain organized, clean, and properly maintained
Coordinate materials, equipment, and inventory before, during, and after events
Monitor timelines and assist with operational flow during events
Respond promptly and professionally to guest or team needs throughout the event

Required

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to lift, move, and set up event materials and equipment
