The role involves providing technical direction on data architecture, collaborating with various stakeholders, and evaluating feasible solutions to meet enterprise data needs.

Responsibilities
Be a thought leader in collaborating with others in the scoping study ensuring Data meets the enterprise business needs. It will be required to challenge and/or defend ideas to prove their worth
Provide technical direction regarding data architecture and capabilities of data at rest, data in motion, and the exposure of data for consumption that aligns with the company’s Data Architecture Committee
Present recommendations to a number of audiences with various levels of technical expertise (Chief Data Officer, Data Architecture Committee, Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Business Analysts,etc…)
Evaluate what is feasible to support at the company given the culture and available resources
Create and maintain high-level estimates of data work with assumptions and rationale. If possible, forecast costs for cloud-based platforms (Snowflake, IDMC, etc…)efforts
Document any plans, direction, and patterns for data work
Identify and participate in any proof of concept / proof of technology efforts associated with the scoping
Experience with Employee Benefits
Implementation of, and maximizing value from Snowflake data platform
Expertise with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud
Expertise with Informatica PowerCenter / CDI-PC
Expertise guiding data-centric technology modernization programs
