Responsibilities

Gather and analyze data on sales, inventory levels, and production schedules to create accurate, timely reports for the S&OP team

Collaborate with the sales and marketing departments to incorporate promotional and seasonal information, resulting in a more accurate and dynamic forecasting model

Conduct interviews with stakeholders across departments to understand areas for improvement in the S&OP process

Map & maintain detailed records of the S&OP process

Design and develop dashboard displaying real-time forecast accuracy metrics, inventory levels

Prepare and present findings and recommendations to internal teams throughout the internship

Deliver a final presentation to the Executive Leadership Team summarizing your project work and key learnings

Participate in developmental workshops, networking opportunities, and cross-functional exposure events

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline

Strong skills in data analysis and interpretation, with experience in tools like Excel, Python, or R for statistical analysis

Experience in handling and interpreting large datasets and the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement

Familiarity with forecasting methods (e.g., time-series analysis, regression analysis, machine learning models) and a demonstrated ability to apply them to business scenarios

Experience creating dashboards and visualizations with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to present data insights effectively

Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively conveying data insights and technical concepts to a non-technical audience

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to gather insights and ensure alignment on project goals

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines

Willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and industry-specific requirements
