Office Manager (Accounting and Administrative) – Automotive Dealership
MSH Talent is partnering with a large publicly traded new and used car dealership group to find an experienced Office Manager. The role involves overseeing accounting and administrative tasks while managing a small team and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
Utilize CDK and Excel daily to complete tasks
Post daily bank transactions to the GL
Reconcile schedules; identify and correct posting errors
Handle petty cash accurately and responsibly
Process and record check deposits received by mail
Sort and distribute incoming mail
Ensure company policies and procedures are being followed
Supervise and manage a team of 2 employees
Work closely with the Finance Secretary and Cashier
Provide assistance to the Controller as needed
Qualification
Required
Automotive dealership experience required
Solid understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in CDK and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communicator with leadership ability
Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively
Desire to grow and take on more senior responsibilities over time

Excellent communicator with a positive personality
Strong problem-solver who pays close attention to detail
Comfortable managing a small team while also rolling up their sleeves
