Serve the various districts within the South County SELPA

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in deaf education or graduate studies in deaf education or other related field
Experience in the areas of learning disabilities, ESL, project-based learning, team teaching and high school experience is highly desirable
Valid Educational Specialist credential with authorization in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH)
CLAD or equivalent English Learner Authorization
Resume, detailing education and experience as it relates to this position
Letter of Introduction, written for this position
Two (2) Letters of Recommendation dated within the last year
Copy of valid California Educational Specialist credential with authorization in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
Copy of valid California CLAD or equivalent English Learner Authorization issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
Copy of transcripts verifying bachelor's degree in deaf education or graduate studies in deaf education or other related field
Any additional certifications you would like considered

Preferred

Fluency in ASL
CPR and First Aid certification are highly desirable
